My six year old Buzz is the absolute joy of my life with all his idiosyncrasies! He was delivered ten weeks prematurely and as a result has sensory and other issues, but despite the battles he faces (or even because of the battles he faces) he is full of life, love, affection, consideration, humour and joy. He is the battery that keeps me going.

Crazily, given my health issues, we dived into the wonderful world of home education in April 2015. Buzz, although he enjoyed school, wasn’t coping with the sensory overload and it felt as though I was spending all week, Monday to Friday, picking up the pieces and putting my child back together again ready for another day of school. It wasn’t the life I wanted for these precious few years with my only child.

For the past few weeks we’ve simply been having fun, getting out and about, going to clubs, and learning in a very practical way. This blog is to share, mainly for the benefit of family, what we have been getting up to. Enjoy!
